The Bordeaux Wine Festival
The event we were all waiting for finally arrived...for 12 euros they gave us all a souvenir wine glass as snazzy glass holder and 12 vouchers for wine!! Well that was until many locals gave us there unused books of vouchers which Mark was determined to use each and every one of! In any case the wine goddess/god was friendly and gave us good plonk with which we picked a different food to feast...the night finished off fantastically with fireworks in the river which are close to the best I've seen.
